Exclamation Help! Where can I find this part?

Ok, can anybody tell me the name (if there is a specific one) for this puelly. I desperately need this part because mine is sligly bent and the accessory belt keeps coming off and making a loud and annoying screeching noise. Any help would be value and appreciated.

Thanks, Arith.

^^^ If that is true, that could make alot of since why when I turn my steering wheel 1.5x around (full circle + half another) its very hard, almost like stuck to get it to turn back and my CEL + battery light turn on for a brief moment...

Yeah, that looks like the power steering pump. Lemme get you a part number and price, just a minute.

Part #MN100370
$588 + ship at www.mitsubishiparts.com

It doesn't look like other Lancers share the same pump. I would try PM'ing some of these guys with extra engines to see if they have an extra pump to sell. Ralliart On LSD and Jokiesmurf come to mind. Start checking junkyards, too.

I can tell you Mike that the junkyards around here dont have ralliarts anywhere. I went around just to look for one for an extra rim and I went to every one in the high desert to come to no avail.

http://www.junkyards.com/

Try a site like that to check other junkyards around the country. The junkyard closest to me has a wrecked ES, which is why I checked to see if they used the same pump, but they don't.

what engine is that? look at the size of the heat shield on that thing.

it's too bad no one makes a pulley kit, you might as well go to aluminum I would call RRM and see if they can have one machined, i bet it would be cheaper than a pump.

That's the kind of 4G69 they put in the Aussie VR-X's. Has the precat built into the header, like the 4G94's do here.

As for the pulley, if he's shredding belts and that's the culprit, seems likely to me that he has a bent shaft or something on the pump.

Yeah, the power steering pulley is slight bent, thus making the accessory belt off center on that pulley. My previous accessory belt was shredded to pieces due to it coming off while driving.
