Should the RRM headers rust?? I thought ceramic coating was supposed to prevent this.. Ive only had it on since they came out which isnt that long ago, but there is rust at the bottom of the header and where it connects to the dp. Enough rust to look really really ugly and just aggravate me.
he shouldnt have to sand anything down, but but hes going to have to i guess, maybe you just got a bad set of headers.
Ceramic coated exhaust parts still have to be maintained. Gently clean the header with soap and water. Then, take a microfiber cloth and some gentle metal polish and gently polish it back to shiny.
yea i didnt think it made sense either. but im trading her in so im not as mad as i SHOULD be. im gonna try and get pics this weekend. i took another look at the rust and its pretty much the entire dp thats rusted. and i mean looks like total crap.
it shouldnt be like that, maybe its the fact that you got all that snow this winter, but i still dont understand b/c from what i know they only use sand in new england instead of salt. it really has me puzzled
