Almost Stalling

it seems ever since i put my few mods that i have on, every now and then when i run my car ill come to a stop and the rpms drop almost to the point that its gonna stall on me. now i have turned all accessories off but sometimes it still does it. its only when i first start the car and actually get out on a main road, then once it warms up it seems to run fine. when i press the clutch in at a stop it seems to help, but i have only 30k miles on the car and i dont run my car hard(all the time) so im kinda

has anyone else had a similar problem? i dont want to waste my time taking it to the dealer b/c theyll just tell me that the car is running fine(waste of time and money) so any input would help.

thanks

i have the exact same problem... i take it to my mechanic at the speedshop, he does his thing and it works perfect for 2 weeks, than it slowly goes back to its bad habit... i just learn to live with it.

back when my gasket was leaking between the turbo and the exhaust manifold it would stall out. But i fixed that gasket adn its alot better.... just a small dip in rpms at idle. It does it worse off a cold start. Start my car to go to work in the morning and it revs at 1k. Normal.. but when it starts to smooth its idle out, it goes to 250-350 rpms. than jumps back up to normal 600 and purrs....

is that gasket leak a known problem with the rrm kits or did you just get a apple?

I think the gasket started to leak after he was tray sliding and bouncing it off the rev limiter for 20 seconds in 1st gear lol.

I think is a pretty common thing..I've driven more than 5 modded RAs and they have the same issue, mostly happen if you have CAI, no cat, exhaust..any combination of mods... its the way it corrects

yeah it doesnt happen all the time but maybe theres a small leak in my exhaust but i dont think it would cause that to occur.
