Will the cam require the ported head? Any ideas on gains, at least a ballpark?

Not sure about the ported head but I want the cam!

 

DEF. the HEAD!! how much?

Possibly the cam. already have an adjustable gear, and i plan on going turbo after the end of my loan so the cam would need to be pretty close to stock tune or else id have to replace it with one thats geared differently....right?


Oh and i still want that CF lip kit. willing to pay for it as a special order.

 

The head doe not require the cam etc.... The pricing will be similar to our OZ head and cam. The costs are still being explored.

SWEET!! Glad to hear you are doing this......but sad this will be the last development on the current RA. Kudos for a fantastic product line.
I would think that the polished and ported head would have more potential as far as gains.....just my guess. Cam would give more "tunability"?

Thanks for the translation. The cam and head should be good for 10-15% gains. It depends on the mods you have. Ports are 20-25% larger so on the RA it is gonna make a Huge difference when MIvec kicks in. Of course the cylinder head will be completely rebuilt, valve job ,decked and of course ported and polished. It will also include a complete gasket kit for installation. They cost us $220 alone.

As for Group buy, that is impossible. We only have one core to work with so it is a slow process and sort of a special order thing. We will fill orders in the order they get paid for.

If RRM makes one id buy theirs to avoid the enormous shipping charge.


When will this head be an orderable item? i need to know how long i have to get the money together.

If i get the cam will it work for N/A and then Turbo later?

 

Rob, I would definatley be up for these mods, please keep informed as I would like to add these performance upgardes to my turbo power. Cool I'm excited!!!!
