Its changing the lift timing on the valves. depending on exactly how they do it, they can focus the gains in different places. after talking to rob from RRM sounds like he tried to keep the gains spread out in the band.

^^ordered the Cam. really wanted to get their rebuilt head but my bank account said otherwise. so looks like im getting it ported at a shop and doing the polish myself.... doesnt look like the TB will work out either.

 

man rob... you had to come out with these new toys once i had my heart set on the LSD.... well its one or the other, so i think im gonna have to go with the LSD, just so i can get these ponies on the pavement. Than you KNOW i'll be ordering that stuff from you guys in a few months...

ordering mine this friday... i'll write up a 2 page well detailed report on that bad boy so you all know how much RRM kicks a$$.

 

In your case I would go LSD first.

what are the chances of obtaining mid 200 whp with RRM's line of N/A performance parts. Basically saying.. since this is gonna be the last thing RRM is making for our line of ralliarts(cams/ported head) can we obtain the HP the FI guys are running?

Prob zero to none! I could prob get that with my mods + the new cam and head. But, no way you are going to hit that n/a. Unless you consider N20 not forced.

 

But aren't you already at around 250 whp with the turbo alone?

 

as an auto im around 170 now, after cam, head and pistons id hit 200 so a manual wouldnt go alot farther then that.

lsd wouldnt help right?

 

no, lsd is for traction only.

 

I finally got the news back from the shop making the cam. GREAT NEWS, he is going to be able to make a Stage 2 or 3 profile cam. It should be owesome. Bads new is he added another $90 to machine work. I am afraid it is going to be $579. I am pissed cause I wanted it to be cheaper so once he told me that I told him to make it a bit of monster since price went up. It should be worth it. We won't make much on it but we will have a proper cam and that is what I wanted for RA guys. Still cheaper than others but it is the only way to go. IF these were hondas we could get 20-50 made and that would make it cheaper. Doing 5 at a time makes the cost go up!

group buy would be awesome, but im already buying an lsd and tie bar. wish i could though.... im gonna save up and get the cam and get a gear at the same time... no point in only going one, not the other. are u guys going to make a gear along with it?.. or do i got to be a traitor and see what rpw has up there sleeve??? i'd hate to do it... please RRM make a gear!
