hi guys, i've been doing researches over the net and couldn't find anything else than RRM Magnaflow Catback exhaust sytem...i've heard that Magnaflow exhaust is louder than other brand. so i'm wondering if this is the only choice? or i have other options? if yes, please post the link where i can get it...thanks...

 

Pretty much your only choice unless you have one custom made.

 

or just go to any muffler shop and buy any muffler they have stock in 2.25" and have them hook it up. If you want something swappable, have them make a axleback, which is just a couple feet of pipe, a flange and a 2 bends. Usually about $100 on top of the muffler.

EDIT: yes, 2.25", no 2.5". my bad

Just removed factory muffler and replaced with pipe to the rear outlet. I also added some runner length to my rrm sri. I'm heading back to the track in Sept sometime so I'm curious if any gains will be had. Car is quite a bit louder right at 3000-3500 rpm but gets quieter very quickly. Highway speeds (70mph) were surprisingly tolerable. Throttle response seemed to improve also. My wife wasn't too happy about the noise level but hey, what's a speed junkie to do?

well, i got the Magnaflow exhaust system from Roadracemotor. it's all good, i like it, the sound is great!! also, it gives some HPS, but i find it's too loudsy!!! I've heard of Greddy, but they haven't made any for 06 RA yet....

 

I got the Megan Racing N1 it sounds amazing

 

What Magnaflow do you have that is to loud?

 

the magnaflow catback or axle that road race sells... a buddy of mine has the catback that he bought and I really do not like the sound... in the car it sounds good but outside it sounds really raspy

 

What about Magnaflow 14843 Race Series or 14821 Street Series, anybody with those exhaust?

Im not sure if the pic of the RRM axelback on there website is just a random pic, but when i see RRMs axelback on cars it looks more like the bottom pic.
