Camshaft regrind
Do someone here had their cam regrinded ? I know Migueralliart had little probleme with that... anybodyelse ? Like I've read in some old thread, only the high lift lobe need to be regrind. Do someone have the spec of the lobe, before and after ?
I have a reground camshaft. there is no "need" for anything to be reground, only what you want. the easiest way to go is to add duration and lift to the high lift lobe, it let's you keep the stock idle but gives you some good top end. do some research and you can find out much more information regarding camshafts, but basically our camshaft is around 280* duration on the mivec lobe (other specs are on here already), and regrinding it to 300* with a few thousandths lift added is pretty standard.
just to make you search, I'm not gonna tell you who reground my cam
It should be very easy to find that information on here.
