but you know... in canada... all we have is the evo x
which i';m not interested in.
so thanks..

Edit:
I have that HFC.. did you have to do any modifications?
just weld it to the midpipe and the CBE?, then install it onto the exhaust header?
No modifications, simply cut and weld. It cost me about $60 or $80 to get it done, I forgot how much exactly but well worth it.

I was wondering when DangerousDan was going to come set this guy straight. I had a feeling RRM would know better.

it's even a downpipe or a half header, given it's all a part of a 4-2-1- header with cat included (04, 05)

...I think I prefer downpipe, but that's me

disclaimer

for the record: the cat is not the only place in an exhaust where you can get backpressure. this tiny sampling of information in this thread should not lead you to believe removing your cat automatically gains HP. an exhaust needs to be considered front to back with all it's flaws before you decide what parts to change or adapt. there are quite few threads on here with much less bickering/misinformation that will give you a much better idea of a sound exhaust design for the RA.

I do not condone, recommend, or participate in running catless on public roads. I think it's stupid to pollute the environment on purpose for a couple of ponies, and so should you. test pipes are for the track.

the only reason I posted here was because I don't like the evo guys poking around making everyone feel bad for buying a cheaper car

can't see the vids, but I can imagine what it sounds like I would imagine the owner doesn't like it any more than you do, at least in hindsight

I always figured the ralliart forum was more mature and capable of a civilized discussion than other forums that shall remain nameless but I guess not.

1. If people continue to feel the need to swing their e-penises at each other, I'll whip out mine and hand out points. Done.
2. The RRM header comes with a downpipe. It is not a midpipe. Anyone who disagrees with this is free to argue with RRM, Buschur and of the other actual tuners who make these parts for various cars. Does the subject at hand go down? Yes, is it a pipe? Yes thus downpipe.
3. If you have no experience with this motor, do not talk like you do.
Anything else?
