dude, i've had my ralliart since 04 when it first came out, back when they called it an evo lite. of the 4 years i have had it, i have driven it less than 2 between a dui i got 3 years ago and the year and a half deployment to iraq. i love my car, it has 27k miles, its paid off and it rocks. i would never trade it in! down the road im going to get a bike or something but im keeping the ralliart. and going from 15.5 second quarter mile to a 13 in less than 4k is not miserable gains. im going to spend more than 4k because i feel like it haha
Anyway, from 15.5 to 13 for $4K!!, thats hell expensive!, haha, not worth it
anyway like i say, do what you want its your money, BUT if I were you, I spend some of that money + the car itself, and get atleast a Evo8, maybe a 9. Or maybe somekind of other car, who knows!
Good luck on your project!
yeah deff keep saving and get an evo. i was about to spend a lot of money on my first car when my friend was like, yeah but what if you saved it and got a wrx. So i did, then i realized i was about to spend a lot of money on a turbo upgrade and things like that when that same friend said, dude just save it and get an evo. So i did and ive never been happier. now im spending money on a car with unlimited potential and it wont break with bolt ons!!!
you know what. my car is stock. and me vs a wrx 1/4 i was just at his rear bumper. its the driver! not the car. stock 1/4 mile time was 14 something cant remember but i will look for my slip and prove it. if you hit high 15 to low 15 its cause of you. slow shifting bad launches. i got my launches down to perfection for my rev point and fast shifting! as well people dont understand how i beat a turbo jetta non diesel. with upgrades. while im stock. everyone thinks that i have something done to my car which i dont yet.
as for buying an evo. no fing way. the ralliart has so much potential also it is sohc. its sad when my custom build is done and im smoking all the evo's. and with sohc!!! u want awd its not too hard to make it awd. i myself just got my outlander to make my awd conversion. and because of the way the power is distributed with the outlander awd vs the evo. i guarantee i will take it off the line easily. research and you willl find unlimited potential for the ralliart!!!

Good, what everyone do with their money should not concern other people , its true, But why do you ask what to do with your money if you are going to get defensive when some one suggest something??
