Piggy Map

Hey, Whats up. I need a good map for my mods. Right now I have an rrm sri, piggyback, and hks muffler. Soon I would like to add a 0BX header. Any good maps for those mods would be appreciated. I would prefer maps that have been dynoed with good results. Thanks

pull the code and read what your engine is saying is wrong, unless you mean the cel is for it running lean

i'm thinking about running one of dangerous dans maps but, if someone has about the same mods as me then I would try one of there maps as long as it has good results on a dyno. i don't want to take any chances of a bad tune.

i meant the actually code number like p0171 (just an example)

personally my mods are close to yours, but i've had too many bills to afford to throw $200 towards a wideband o2 sensor to tune my car. im sticking with the stock map for now (when i say stock i mean the RRM one lol)

I can't remember what the code numbers were but, I did see the screen from the code reader that said to lean. I am just now getting a laptop to be able to tune my car. I just need to find a good map that does not run lean. At this point I just need a map that has worked good for someone else with about the same mods.

well it isn't the map that runs the engine lean. The piggyback only effects the amount of fuel injected in during open loop operating mode, which comes on during WOT, and during that time, the ecu doesn't take information from the o2 sensor to adjust the AFR which is what allows you to tune it, if anything, you're getting the lean code from a leak in the intake or dirty MAF sensor, so i would check those, reset the ecu, and see what happens.

yeah man, i threw a lean code like 2 weeks ago when we got hit with a cold front, ecu wasnt used to the change in outside weather temp, so i reset the ecu, erased the code and it hasn't come back yet =p
