Ok so this morning ive been hard at work trying to install the CAI by myself but when i got the secondary pipe in, the bypass valve wont fit between the primary and the secondary. Ive tried searching around the forums and havent seen where anyone said you had to cut the pipe so if someone was able to get the bypass valve on without cutting the pipe can you please explain?

 

I just installed the bypass valve on my cia two days ago. The directions came with a cut out that you taped on the inlet piece of the cia. I used a hack saw, and all in all it took me about 45 min to install. this was my first time installing anything under the hood. I didn't get a cel, and my ra is running perfectly normal!

 

Did you ever figure this out - by the way?

LOL yeah i figured it out. my bypass didn't come with the paper to cut it so i found it on the internet some where.
