UDP problem

I have some question about the UDP.
I have the Aftershock Automotive UDP that use to be similar to the RoadRace one, similar but I don't know if the seize is the same.

Is it the same for you that when it rains, the strap slip on the pulley when I start the car ? An noise can be heard...

I guess the UDP is the cause, but I have an very small leak of oil from the oil pump sprocket. Any one of you get that probleme too ?

I know the oil pressure switch is a mess on those cars but I've changed mine 1 month ago and now it flash on again in idle. Do the UDP can damage by vibration something in the engine the way it can cause and low pressure, or I'M just badluck.

Those who are running the Roadrace UDP, did you notice an ''noise/vibration'' from the engine when accelerating slowly between 1500/2000tr in first or second gear only in load.

Whatever the gain it gives, I seriously think to get this thing out !

nope, no vibration here with the rrm udp. no problems with belt slipping. no oil leaks. no oil pressure warnings on idle.

did ur UDP come with a new, shorter belt? if not, that's probably your problem.
is your belt, thats the right size, just stretched and needs replacing? could be...unless u never got a shorter belt, of course.

does the oil thats leaking drip unto the pulley(s) and/or serpentine belt? cause that could likely cause it too.

Yes my belt is shorter than the OEM one. I compare the number of the belt with those who have the RRM and the part number is the same so I guess the pulley is the same seize too. No the oil leak doesn't even touch the belt. It's an very very small leak.

I have the Aftershock pulley. Everything is fine.

Maybe your belt tensioner is seized and can't rotate and spring back enough to tension the belt properly. That might explain slipping and vibration, both caused by a loose belt. Get underneath the car and see if you can move the tensioner with the 1/2" drive ratchet (like when you installed the pulley).

While you're there check to see the four pulley bolts are tight.
