I was thinking of getting the timing box as well, didn't RRM have it for $150 a couple months ago? It's $300 now, I couldn't believe it.

Yeah and when it first came out it was only 80 bucks :/

glad i bought it when it was cheaper. but thats garbage that when comparing all their other products this is the one that they jacked up the price the most

Yeah, it's ridiculous. I was definitely going to get the timing box, especially with how easy the installation is for 8hp, not anymore though. Not worth it to me for $300+

thats what i was thinking too, but i found a member selling one on marketplace for $200 shipped i bought today so i grabbed that.

hey guys, I know the timing box is 89 octane or higher. where i live we have 87, 89, 93. will i see better gains if i run the 93 over the 89?

93 is only necessary if you're running the piggyback

It wouldn't. The timing is not advanced to take advantage of higher octane than 89.

ok thanks guys. Another quick question, I just received my endeavor throttle body in the mail. the metal flap that opens and closes, is that suppose to be flush and totally closed, because mine is slightly angled/slightly open.
