RRM Piggyback in Wisconsin?

I am about to send my Piggy into RRM soon to get it reflashed but was wondering if anybody could give me any opinions on whether or not it would be a good idea to run the Piggy in Wisconsin with the temperatures fluctuating significantly.

I have searched through merely all the threads and couldn't find any of them reguarding my situation specifically.

piggyback only works under WOT anyway so unless you're flooring it every single minute of the day when the temperatures are different i think you'll be okay. i run my piggyback in chicago and temperatures are never constant

Thanks again Raikiri!! That makes me relieved to know that because there are not many Ralliart owners around me that I know of and since I am swapping in a new engine I want to run the Piggy for the rest of my car's life without having to do any more work after having it installed. I just had read on some threads that people were saying you will run lean/rich due to the settings being only programmed for specific temperatures and altitude.

Have you had yours flashed for specific mods? or are you running on RRM's base tune for bolt ons?

I used to live about 30 miles from you, near Union Grove. The base tune on my piggyback made my car throw a 'system too lean' code in cold weather. I was able to richen it up for winter, and save two different tunes on my laptop, one for cold weather, and one for hot.

Of course, the hot one stays loaded now.

Ya, you could either setup different tunes like myszkewicz, or install it with plugs and just unplug it for the winter.

This is my first experience with piggybacks and tuning an ecu but both ideas would work great. But being unexperienced, I get really insecure about doing the installation let alone installing it with plugs to remove it when need be

Nice! Back in high school we used to play you guys in football! Thanks for the great input but I have no idea where to start as far as the cable and getting the right tunes for winter/summer. Plus it doesn't help when I can't find anybody around me to help me get it installed because I don't trust my experience yet with ecus and piggybacks
