When I did the exhaust setup on my Ralliart I went with the OBX header and mid-pipe. I had a high flow cat welded in between the flexpipe and the exhaust hangers on the mid-pipe. Just so you know, you'll have to plug the O2 sensor bung on one of the runners, and I *think* have one added before the cat for the front O2...

It does sit maybe a inch or two lower than the stock header, but thats at it's lowest point where it bends 90* to the collector. I was at stock ride height and never once scraped it.

I had a custom cat-back welded onto the end of the mid-pipe with an 18" resonator and magnaflow muffler. Sounded great, nice deep tone. And when I wanted to be loud and obnoxious I would open up the QTP electronic cutout that ran straight off the header before the cat.

Anyway, some ideas for ya... All said and done I think I had about $600ish in the exhaust for a nice header-back setup.

Thanks Arxylis. I was looking up more info on the headers and ran across your youtube post! I was hoping to hear from you, and sure enough here you are! haha! Thank you though. I guess Im going to give it a shot and see how it turns out. If its too loud I'll order a cat and have it welded on. Thanks again for the input!

if you're not required to pass emissions tests then you can delete the cat...your O2 sensors might freak out though, not sure how that can be rectified, maybe use a spacer on the rear sensor so it's not directly in the exhaust stream, but still gets a reading....

now that you mention it, it does look like there's a bend in the first pic you posted...and by my judgement it looks like the apex of the bend will sit under the leading edge of the subframe, and go back up toward the first bend from the header, so other than the obvious increase in size of the collector and piping, it should sit in the stock location...the other side of the bend, instead of bending sharply upward toward a horizontal catalytic converter, it just slopes gradually to where the stock cat-back flange would be...it appears to follow the angle of the front sub-frame which slopes forward a bit...

Newest addition. Took me a few days of driving around without half my dash and no center console. But I love it!

I like the red highlights... and with the sweep of white yours looks like some of the new BMW and Mercedes dashes (no kidding).

Thanks everyone!

Crans I do like that cluster detail that would be cool to do maybe down the road.

Thanks RalliartN! I thought the Red was a nice accent since I have this whole white, black, and red theme on the outside of my car with decals, and lights and such.

I wanna get the evo 8/9 steering wheel and paint match it too. But before that I'll probably be painting the tan pillars to match the black of the dash and lower trim.

Black and white thats really sick. I think the red matches in there too but I really like the black and white. what color is your car on the outside? You should make your car two tone or paint some back on the outside. Either way looks good man!

Thanks bro! I guess I should have posted this in my thread in the show and shine. Ive since cleaned up the interior from that pic so maybe I will get a nicer pic on my lunch break today and bump my S-n-S thread so you can see the rest.

Well that was kind of the issue I had. I searched for one and didnt find any decent guide. I guess I could make a how to... I didnt think about that. Maybe Some day in the future I'll get around to that! But in the mean time:

- You have to take out the center console with the armrest and cup holders. Screws are inside the cubby hole, and behind the ash tray.

- Then there will be screws at the base of the front half of the center console. Undo those. Remove your shifter. Then the trickiest part I ran into was undoing the plastic clip things holding it down in the front. One will be near your gas pedal and the other in a similar spot on the other side. Apparently there is a screw under the ash tray as well but there wasnt under mine...

- From there the only thing holding it down should be all the wires running around under there. Once you get it off of there its pretty self explanatory how to undo it all. I dont remember the details off the top of my head but its simple. Few clips, and a few screws and its all free.

Best of luck bro let me know how it goes!

Looks really nice! I did this to my car but in red about a year ago. I attempted putting a clear gloss over mine but it melted the paint underneath So I had to resand and paint once again. Also did you unplug your battery when you removed the dash trim? Wait...do you have the airbag indicator and seat belt indicator? Like when the passenger sits in the seat the airbag is on? Along with whether their seatbelt is on? I have this right where the clock is, and basically my SRS light is now on due to it
