i think the hardest part is disconnecting the harness that powers the cigarette lighter...the center console cover is just clipped on, remove shifter knob, and ashtray, and you should be able to just pull it off.

I did. Brand new KYB's. I was waiting on my friend to bring them over he picked them up for me. Got them all put together and installed. I love it! Although there is a bit of rubbing on the driver side when the wheel is cut almost all the way out. Does it do the same for anyone else?

Alright cool I am too. I just wanted to make sure.

I think my next project will be the rear suspension. Tie bar, Sway bar, Maybe some fashion of Strut bar.

do the sway bar first...tie bar seem pointless in my opinion, but i would have a strut bar back there, but the stock sub, and my monstrosity of a side by side stroller for the kids wouldn't fit if i had one

You didn't learn your lesson with the swaybar? You can't bash it if you don't have it, the tie bar helps

And I have 2 15"s,amp,capacitor in the trunk, and the stroller still fits but the rear strut bar doesn't really take up alot of room either way.

Yea sway bar is definitely next. I can hear some popping back there some times and Im pretty sure its the ancient end links back there.

Tiebar is coming too.

As for the strut bar Im thinking about fabricating some sort of X bar like Lanzer brought up somewhere once before. I really liked that idea and I think I could pull it off. I'll have to take my trunk liner out to get a better view but Im pretty sure I can make something similar or better than that cable set up we were linked to back then.

lol, i did learn my lesson, but i was mistaken in thinking the stock bar was "good enough" but i very well knew a larger bar would be better, just didn't know how much better, lol
I still don't see the tie bar doing as much as the strut bar, to compliment the sway bar...

and i have one these "bumbleride indie twins", they're like the aston martin of baby strollers...they're 700 bones, but the wife "had to have it" It's friggin' huge!

Lol that is nice , I have 3 different strollers, the cargo stroller, that we bring to events/amusement parks, the jogging stroller for all the jogging we do (sarcasm), and the little 1980 looking quick fold up stroller that more so looks like a hammock. Women waste more money than an American fat kid in a candy store.

Wow its been a while since I posted in this thread! :P

But I need to ask a question and hope someone has some answers.

So Ive been planning a build for my spare engine and Ive got most of the road set in stone just need to get the ball rolling once I get a few more things done to my car now. Anyway once I finish the engine I had thought about swapping it into something else but I really love my RA and I was trying to think of how I could possibly drop the built engine into my RA. Only problem I kept running into was the fact that my RA is auto... -_- Id really like to have a manual but everyone talks like swapping a manual into an auto is a HUGE pain.

So I was trying to think of a way to make the auto tranny work with the new engine which will be using an Evo 9 ECU. In my searching I found something that Galant and Eclipse guys use called Boomslang, which allows one ECU to run some functions (the engine managment) while the other runs different ones (auto tranny). Has anyone heard of this or had any experience with it? Just wanted to see if anyone else had some insight before I got my hopes up.

Well Lanzer, you were to start jogging didn't you know ??

Glad I was able to dodge that one. I'm sure she just blew the cash elsewhere though.

it will be a huge pain, but it can be done, just find a manual wrecked car and just rob the parts including the ECU. or find all the necessary parts and source them individually, if you got your heart set on it...or you could sell or trade your car for a manual version with high mileage and then just drop your built motor into that, and rebuild the tranny.

Well I didnt want to start a new thread for this as I am more or less venting.

I switched to the Odyssey Mini Battery probably 6 months ago. I was kind of afraid that the winter months would be hard on it but I needed a battery so I put it in anyway. Well its stayed strong up till now. I went to start it this morning and it cranked really slow. Well this afternoon after work I went to start it and it would barely turn but it never fired... So lucky for me the parking lot we use for work is right next to a garage. I ran over and asked one of the guys for a jump and he did.

Well I got it home and tried to start it again and it was fine. After about two hours I went back to it and it just barely started again... So Im guessing the battery is on its way out cause its losing charge. So Im debating on whether or not if it is going out on either ordering a new mini battery or just getting an Optima Yellow top and putting it in the trunk...
