they might pull the head...to get for money out of you, make sure you get the old head gasket, and even head bolts if they replace them...i pulled the head and it cost me $500 in machining, hardware and gaskets alone...

I hope not. I told them only the belts. I have already started.looking at new valves. p&p the head and intake manifold. and all of that good stuff. I hope that every thing is OK in there. I don't wanna tear anything down during the cold months.

i had a feeling there was no damage...it's too bad they pulled the head, cause you could have just replaced the belt...did they do the water pump as well? did they give you a list of parts that were replaced?

as of right now the timing belt. balance shaft belt and the water pump. all the tensioners were replaced last time. I have a thought that the tbelt was not replaced last time. ill post pictures tonight when I get the car back of the belt that gave up. almost forgot. they ran my vin and there were 2 factory. recalls. one is the fan module. and the was the ecu. something was wrong with the speed sensor were it had the motor releasing more o2's than it should of. so they factory reset the ecu.
