New clutch is in.

I just put in the tranny too. All those years at the gym paid off lol.

Here is the new Rear Main Seal

Old Main Seal and The Flywheel Bolts New vs Old

New Flywheel

Clean Transmission!

And finally the new clutch!

Will finish project soon and will have more pics and video.

hey just a tip make sure the clutch disk centering tool can slide really deep easily, i did it a few times the first times it would go in but feel tight and rubbing so i undid the bolts and redid it pushing up on the disk a bit and that time the tool slide in and out no problems nice and smooth

would'nt the clutch just line itself up after the first or first few uses..?
when u press the pedal the pressure plate lets go of the clutch disk, and it spins freely...wouldn't that let it readjust itself after 1 or more uses?

just wondering

if the clutch disc isn't aligned, good luck geting the transmission to line up, the clutch disc once the input shaft is inserted will support the weight of the transmission, lol...so if it's not pretty well centered, you won't be able to line up the dowels.

Random OT question. My brother has the 07 Galant and he just came home from being in the Marine Corps. And doesn't care for performance....the galant has a 4G69 motor, so would thenTB swap work for both vehicles very simply and directly?

Then again...they're probably the same size
