i had the same problem its most likely your clutch master or slave. Mine would drive fine and then would go really soft then rock hard and then be fine again for like an hour. It slowly jsut started to get worse and i could feel the pedal rubing and sticking so i put an exedy evo8 master and the exedy rallairt slave in and it worked great, just chaged the clutch disengauge point to alomst off the floor instead of high

- Get on with life...

What do you guys think?
if your mechanically inclied i vwould say its pretty staightforawrd, ihave no mecahnic training of any sorts and ive been able to do a fully synchro rebuild on my own. If you dont really know what your up to and dont have a large assortment of tools then id say itll be a big pain. If u do do it expect 5 hours minimum on your own to get the tranny out also. if u need help me and cranswick could probably give u hand

I think this is something I want to do when I do my timing belt. Don't need to replace the TOB though.

Lol I honestly didn't see you have to ask FX11.

And also, just received my gl4 redline oil and my flywheel bolts. Fidanza aluminum flywheel will be here Monday and my car will be on the road.

Oops he did answer lol

only thing i can think of is that the mount looks likes its amde to be pulled down qutie a bit, so maybe once the weight is on the mounts that bolt is actually sitti ng at the bottom of the bushing pulling on the rubber, still looks way to small tho

It is OEM and designed that way for a reason, not sure what the engineers were thinking, maybe it contributes something to engine vibration isolation, or allows for production tolerances in the powertrain mounting system. Once they receive a problem statement and design goals, Japanese auto engineers pay extraordinary attention to every tiny detail, sometimes to the point of being ridiculous, so its tough to figure what their thinking was at the time.

That's the OEM bolt. I remember cus I did the front motor mount with the help of RaliiartN. We had a hell of a time with the underhood bushings, facking seized garbage.

Ran into a silly pwrobrem. Stock flywheel bolts too small. Fidanza is sending Mark the correct bolts which are bigger. Stock flyhweel bolts are M12x1.25x15.5mm. The ones needed are M12x1.25x25mm.

Yes, the WTS post said that 15.5mm bolts were required and that's all. Ordered them and they were holding on by 3 threads. Lol took the safe route and got some free fidanza bolts down to spec sizes for the flywheel.

And as for the size and shape. If FX doesn't post a pic, I will.
