i had the same problem its most likely your clutch master or slave. Mine would drive fine and then would go really soft then rock hard and then be fine again for like an hour. It slowly jsut started to get worse and i could feel the pedal rubing and sticking so i put an exedy evo8 master and the exedy rallairt slave in and it worked great, just chaged the clutch disengauge point to alomst off the floor instead of high

if your mechanically inclied i vwould say its pretty staightforawrd, ihave no mecahnic training of any sorts and ive been able to do a fully synchro rebuild on my own. If you dont really know what your up to and dont have a large assortment of tools then id say itll be a big pain. If u do do it expect 5 hours minimum on your own to get the tranny out also. if u need help me and cranswick could probably give u hand

only thing i can think of is that the mount looks likes its amde to be pulled down qutie a bit, so maybe once the weight is on the mounts that bolt is actually sitti ng at the bottom of the bushing pulling on the rubber, still looks way to small tho

It is OEM and designed that way for a reason, not sure what the engineers were thinking, maybe it contributes something to engine vibration isolation, or allows for production tolerances in the powertrain mounting system. Once they receive a problem statement and design goals, Japanese auto engineers pay extraordinary attention to every tiny detail, sometimes to the point of being ridiculous, so its tough to figure what their thinking was at the time.

That's the OEM bolt. I remember cus I did the front motor mount with the help of RaliiartN. We had a hell of a time with the underhood bushings, facking seized garbage.
