Just watched this vid. he said that he used the 4G93 ECU? is it true that the mirage ECU is compatible with our 69?

 

I poked around the Mirage forums, it looks like they are able to use the 4G93 ecu to work with our engine. It's really crazy, I know there was a post floating around a while back over here where someone was looking for help with their swap on the mirage.

 

Yea I seem to remember someone else running a 4g69 in a mirage with the 4g93 ECU and it allowed them to use a drive by wire throttle body instead of our electrically controlled one. Apparently the Mirage LS has a better final drive gear ratio than the RAs transmission as well.

 

I think I'll give it a try, would be much easier to tune it than our ECU..

 

Let us know how it goes! I'm sure if you would go over to the mirage forums they could help you out. There was one guy that just recently did the swap so he would have the most recent info on how the ECU responds to the 69.

Yeah this is relatively old news the PR guys have been doing it this way for many years, search it up. Chowtime is a user here that has done it personally and she is very helpful. Checkout the mirageforum too
