Unhappy P0340 error

Hey guys sad that my car just quit on me... Well I was on a stop light and I hear a weird sound come from my engine. So when the light turned green I took off my car just died and quit on me so I had to get it towed back home. When I got back I got tried to turn the car on all it does is turn over but makes no effort to start on. Then I went to see a error code saying P0340 camshaft position. What should I do?

Hi, sorry to hear that.
Could be the camshaft position sensor, check the connection to it, maybe reset the ECU by disconnecting the battery for 10 minutes or so, and if that doesn't help, then buy a new camshaft position sensor.

Sounds like your timing is off. Could be the timing belt. Pull the cover off and check the timing marks.

either the crank or cam angle sensor has failed, but just out of the blue like that my bet is the timing belt failed.
