Clutch disengagement / Shifting Problem
I have a 2005 ralliart that has this strange clutch problem. Almost every time I press the pedal, my clutch sometimes seems to stick to the flywheel, before properly disengaging. If I don't rev match or pump the clutch pedal, my shifter will give resistance against going in gear (a.k.a transmisson grinds) and out of gears.
I replaced my clutch master cylinder with a brand-new OEM one because it previously had a leak. I took out a brake master cylinder and a slave cylinder from a ralliart at a scrapyard, then swapped them into my car, to see if mine were defective/leaking. Therefore, I'm certain there's no leaks in the system because I inspected the lines many times and its all dry. I monitor the fluid level often and its steady. I actually even tried different settings for the clutch freeplay adjustment (near the pedal), but it never seems like there's enough pushing power to disengage my clutch enough.
I think the reason is because there's not enough hydraulic pressure pushing the rod in my slave cylinder (+ syncro rings in the tranny are used). But I have no way to increase the pressure to get more travel in the release fork on my transmission. How can I fix this?

Thanks for the tip, but I've bled it many times trying different techniques to always get the air out. I get a bubble once in a while that pops up from the hose going from the clutch master to the brake master reservoir.. Could this be a bad clutch master cylinder?

I experienced the same issue. I replaced the slave cylinder and clutch master cylinder and that solved the issue. It was a pain to bleed the system for me. I had a pump and still took hours to get it back. I ended up leveling the car perfectly and just gravity bleed the system first. Then used the vacuum pump to finish it.
