It's the rear springs. I use to have the same noise but once I replaced them, no more noise. The rear springs get saggy after a while.

that rear squeaking has also been proven to be the rear sway bar rubber bushings, remove them and grease them up a little or an easier but not as effective or long lasting fix is to use some silicone spray

Hi all, this is my first post. I have 2004 Ralliart and I like to work on my own car. Where can I get a service manual for my vehicle? ThanX!

Idling Problems

So I reset my car by unplugging the negative terminal, then let the car idle for 10 min (with about 5 or 6 stalls along the way). The car seemed to settle into a 700 rpm idle but then every time i gave it a little gas or any at all really, the rpms would drop to 300 then climb back up slowly. Has anyone else had this problem and know how to adjust it?

What was the reason you reset the ecu? And what mods do you have done to the car?

Yes i had the same problem when i would drive and get off the gas my RPM would drop that low. When i would turn on the ac the RPM would go a little higher but it would still drop. When i finally took it to the shop my TB had alot of carbon build up and when i got the car back it was running alot harder with no problems with the RPM. if anything my car was idle a little about 1000 just turned on cold

Idle Issues

The battery was unplugged to instal an under glow kit and when i got it back the car had been reset. I uninstalled the glow kit thinking that would fix the problem. Now i was told to reset it and let it idle for 10 min. The cars running better no more stals but the idling isnt perfect. For mods i have a short ram intake and a magnaflow exhaust. I also have a sub and deck but thats about it for electric upgrades. The throttle response also suffers with the strange idle.

The 4 wire one is what you need. Why do you have the CEL? Did you take out the cat or did you put a high flow one?

put a high flow one on but the previous owner had a holow cat on there probably from a civic that he just beat eveything out of it to make it holow so i had a vibrant one put on. the cel codes are p171 (i think) and the other one is to the o2 sensor guy who scanned the codes said one of the codes was because my camshaft sensor was eather bad or going bad.

I dont know cr*p about oil viscosity. I'm willing to switch to full synthetic, but don't know which viscosity to chose.

My mechanic told me we need to know the operating temperatures of the engine.

Also, temperatures here range from -40 in winter to plus 35 in summer (all in Celsius).

Thx for help.
