Auto, I had no other choice at the time. In retrospect, I am not unhappy with the auto at all.

Manual. I've never owned an automatic, and will not unless they stop making manuals.

I to am stuck with the auto due to Ralliart wagon body. My fiance also hates manual so it wasn't an option anyways.

Manual baby!

I came from an auto (o2 es), man it's like night and day. I would shift my my auto like a stick and it was fun, but also I was scared of blowing the tranny. Plus the torque on the ralliart w/ the stick and downshifting is too much fun. Im so glad I got a stick, the first night with it, I was about 95% from taking it back and getting an auto, good thing I stuck with it.

Thats exactly it. Couldn't have said it better.

The Evo shifter is too sweet. Its a pleasure to shift. I like its notchiness. Sometimes it makes casual driving a bit less comfortable and my wife complains. Having an automatic would seriously detract from the fun of the car. I don't mean to rain on auto owners but it really is a pleasure to shift.

Your telling me. yawn. I wish mitsubishi had put the sportronic auto in these for us so we could at least have pretend manual.

I'v still got my 93 asuna sunfire and its a 5 speed but I haven't driven that in over a year already, needs some front end frame work... bald tires, ice and curbs don't mix :-(
