They ARE Evo seats. It HAS an Evo shifter. That's not opinion, that's FACT.

And it has EVERYTHING to do with buying an RA. Your average everyday ignorant Joe Schmo won't know or care about that, but we are enthusiasts. We bought our cars because we love the way that they drive, and the way that they feel while being driven. The shifter is AWESOME. Nobody who has every driven one can deny that. The seats are very comfortable and very supportive.

Maybe not the most elegant or whatever, but extremely functional.

 

Go for the Scion unless you REALLY want 4 doors

That's gotta be one of the funniest things I've read so far.

Next you'll be telling us that the ITR and the GS-R are economy cars just like the base Integras, and that the Civic Si is an economy car just like the base Civic HX.

Also, please stop talking about yourself in the third persona. "He" this and "he" that makes things confusing. Take some accountability for what you said.

 

And we've been giving REAL reasons of why we think the Ralliart is a better car.

Even if you DON'T know that the shifter is the same as in the Evo, or that the seats are from an Evo, or you don't know about the engine, if you test drive it, you WILL see just how good they all are. That's all it takes. A test drive. Just don't discount it because it's name starts with a Lancer.

RA is this a fact no my opinon but my everything is gonna be better than yours lol so now as to being better than a tc I dont know never driven one as for spec from what I ve seen thier evenly matched I guess its a matter of choice so to each his own, oh and my wife looks better than yours lol j/k

 

ok, i know this is my first post, and i dont want to get flamed for saying what i have to say. honestly, i will be purchasing a RA in about 3 months. i spent about six months doing research and was sold on the tC. i went to a dealership and test drove it, and i thought it was an amazing car for the money. that same night i stumbled into a mitsubishi dealership and test drove the ralliart. i decided that it would be the better place for me to put my money because the suspension is firm and it feels as if it has greater handling capabilites than the tC. the tC is a great car, but it isint as capable on the curves as the ralliart...that is because of the steel frame needed to support that all glass roof. as to power...the camry engine was tweaked...tC owners are pulling stock dyno's of 145hp regularly...and the torque is around the same. STOP KNOCKING CARS IF YOU DON'T KNOW ABOUT THEM. i've done research. the tC is a good car. if you don't feel it is as great as the ralliart, thats fine, but its your opinion.

 

Thanx everyone for all your info and oppinions. I guess this is kind of a biased oppinion but i'd rather get the right facts from those who know best. I didnt get all the answers i'd hoped for but you guys have definately given me something to think about. Just for future reference lets try and keep our little cat fights out of other peoples threads. I dont really care if someone repeats themselves multiple times even though person X did (I wont name names). I guess the hardest part about considering the tc is the fact that i would have to leave the lancer and mitsubishi behind.

So now im gonna hijack my own thread really quick. Is it just me or does the ralliart look exactly like the last gen. mazda protege. except for the headlights maybe.

One other question. why is your name solotc if you bought a ralliart . Also i read that the tc has 160hp and 163 torque. at least thats what it said in the pamphlet i got at the Utah auto show.

 

Those HP/Torque numbers are at the flywheel. The 145 is at the wheels, after tranny loss and all that.

I personally think that the new lancer body style looks like a Pontiac (front end design), Honda (headlights and back end), and an old Lancer (side profile) had an orgy, and through some freak of nature, spit out the new Lancer.

 

The ralliart overall body style looks exactly like the old protege

evosareplayed, you have been OWN3D by quite a few members in the thread. You where quoted repeating yourself 3x in one of your post and than you say "i never repeated myself".

Than you sit here and tell us RALLIART OWNERS, that we don't have short shifter and seats from the evo. Nobody said it was from the evo8, we just said evo. The seats are from the lancer evolution VII GT-A model, the short shifter is taking directly out of the lancer evolution VIII. We are ralliart owners, I think we know more about our car than some kid, he doesnt own one. Consider yourself lucky, because were being nice to you after your f*cked up in the thread.

As for spoolinup, the reason why the seats/short shifter was mention because we were mentioning overall status of the car, as followed: The RA seats/short shifter is better than the tC. These opinions (mine and others) where based on facts that we've either sat or test driven a tC, not some sh*t we made up. How are you gonna say, people shouldnt give there opinion, that's why we have freedom, we shouldnt all be subject to like one thing, that's why in life you have options and a choice and it's based on opinion, rather you like it or not. (no offense to any women members here) The girl comment was my own judgement, why? Ive seen over 20 tC's, even when my mom was test driving a solara, I saw a cute blonde chick buy a silver tC. I never seen ONE guy drive one, now im not saying guys don't drive them, but from my eyes, its 100% women, 0% guys. When it comest to looks, the tC has that cute look a la celica and corolla, hell even the XRS looks like a girl cars. Also, if you wanna talk stock vs. stock... the RA owns the tC.
