he had intake, exhaust and 15lb rims /w nito's. I beat him by 2.5 seconds. He ran a 18.029@75.44. I think that qualifies as a crushing

Yeah, my how I wish I still had my Lancer. I'm almost certain I'd be in the low 14s easily. I guess **** happens.

I ran a 15.7 with just a CAI next time I go I'll take your advise about not slamming the gas when I launch. It was fun though I look foward to do it again and improve my times with my upcoming mods .
In order to get a proper launch with the RA or any car you have to feather the gas out of first. Slamming it will simply make you spin your tires and really tear up your times. I got used to feathering the pedal and that's how I almost nailed my high 14. I would have gotten a high 14 on my 15.0 run but I braked slightly at the very end because I was going to "break out" or (get a faster time then what was posted on my car) and I wanted to win my bracket so once I realized the guy was far behind me I hit the brakes causing me to get a 15.0 rather than a 14.9 I broke out even at 15.0 because I had a 15.2 marked on my car that night. I really wish I still was here. Really wish I still had the Ralliart. I can't believe I'm still talked about on this site despite not being on here for 5-6 months.

That civic was either an auto or he gave up.

Heck that's slower than my Lancer ran stock

well, the tires play a major role, but over inflated tires suck even more.

that and you need to throttle play to get less spin on your tires.

umm, its a 1.7L 128HP 4door 2650lb car. and only 114lb torque. if hes the best driver in the world i dont think he would have won =) its a civic EX. sedan. not a SI or any of the coupes/hatches. it should be about on par /w ur lancer, if not a bit slower.

You would still wipe the floor with him true, but I ran 17.2-5 stock or there abouts. I can't imagine a civic 5 speed being that much slower. Only the autos ran in the 18's

this is my first time posting in this forum. first time ever in the track with my stock 04 ralliart tonight. my best 1/4 mile run was 15.48 @ 89.39 mph on my 3rd run. i think i did good. my track slips is

reaction- 1.06
60-2.32
330- 6.51
1/8- 9.98 @ 70.54
1/4- 15.48 @ 89.39

my first run was 16.0 because i was kinda nervous. other than that, the rest of my run was hittin 15.5 and 15.6 i did around 6 runs tonight. all i did to my car was remove the spare jack and i had a half tank fuel. i didnt even bother checking the tire pressure. i know the stock tire suck. i think i could have done better time on my run. its my first time, i think i did good. what do you guys think???
