Not bad.. Too bad you couldnt wait.. I got a set of JDM HID's coming over from japan in a few weeks.. Friend of mine is bringing them back.. Completely OEM and REAL JDM HID's ( which is what the RA comes with in Japan or anything for that matter).. Anyways looks like they turned out nice.

got a friend from japan too, but the overall cost was just too much compare to doing it my own. besides, it is RHD so i would need to do a LHD conversion.

once you get it and install....take some pictures so we can compare...hehehehehehe

YEah i looked into the JDm also, but like Zeof said, RHD would be aimed wrong. and why spend all that money when you just have to convert them to LHD. also are they the JDM projectors or JDM HID reflectors. the 05 use reflectors.

I persdonally like the looks of the projector up front.

I have finished my retro but broke one of the bulbs today. and fried a ballast due to a bad mount on the pass. side.

Well hella gen 3 ballasts are on the way, as well as covers and new phillips bulbs..

Zeof, where did you mount you ballast on the left. i'm to lazy to read back thru the thread..

oh, yeah, i'll help with the DIY. Let me know what info you need.

sorry to hear about your bulb and the ballast...yikes.

i mounted my ballast along the metal frame that comes across the engine to the front bumper. since i have hella gen 4 that comes with a mounting bracket, i drilled two holes through this metal frame and just screwed it to it. you have to remove the bumper to do this. i will take some pics tomorrow to show you what i mean.

sounds good about the DIY....i will start it this weekend or so. i can start from removing the bumpers to screwing the projectors in the reflectors and u can finish the rest or vice verse. what do you think?
