... and I'd be skeptical that that mod list would give you 200 HP at the wheels

with those two mods, plus tuning you could probably get 18hp. but they just don't add up like stacking blocks unfortunately...

There's a difference in hp regular hp which often refers to horsepower to the cranck/ flywheel when it travels threw the drivetrain it loses power to the wheels and whp referring to hp to the wheels so 210 whp is more than 210 hp to the crank

I think a 200bhp 4G69 would be had with:

SRI or CAI
port and polish the head
10:1 compression ratio
HF cat ? (Not sure it's needed)
Replace the flat section of exhaust pipe with round pipe
ECU tune

My 10 cents.

This could be a key.

I thought SSP-Ralliart on the boards here added every N/A mod you could do (and then some) and got into the 12 second club? Not sure his whp, it's been a couple years since I read through that thread...

Going up .5 compression is hardly worth the trouble, at least bump it up a full 1.0 . I even think if Hackish worked with a full bolt on ralliart and pushed the envelope it could be done.

SSP's biggest advantage is his 600+ pounds he removed.

When I look at engines with similar displacement making power around the 200 bhp mark, the key difference I tend to notice is a higher compression ratio than the 4G69.
