Question Got An SRI Question

Hey guys. Haven't been around for a while...work and such. Got a question. I ordered the AEM SRI for my RA and I was wondering if there is a trick to installing it so that the CEL won't burn forever after the install? Also, is it a biatch to install or what? And thanks for the best forum ever!

The SES light will not come on if you install it correctly. It is very easy to install btw.

There is no reason the CEL will come on. The airflow sensor will still work like it's supposed to.

Shouldn't need to, the sensor will pick up the changed airflow and make its changes.

Shouldn't be bad to install, either. All you probably have to do is remove the stock air box, maybe the tubing coming off the intake manifold too. Just plug the new tube on, screw on the filter, connect the MAF, and you'll be set. 30-45 minute job, no surprises.

Let us know how the AEM works out! Nobody has seen pics of it either yet, so be sure to post them up after you've got it in there!

you should always disconnect it when you work on your engine.... like encase you are loosening a bolt on the intake and your wrench touches the battery terminal and you get zapped (actually happened)
