sounds like warped rotors to me. alot of local shops can probably turn them for not very much. just call around. or you could always get some new cross drilled ones

I have the same problems with the shudder. cars 1 year old and just passed 30,300 mile. my problems started after my last trip to the mountains. 318 curves in 11 miles x 3 passes can do that i guess. I love the Dragon!

Has anybody had any other brake problems other than this? I ask because I was taking a turn in a parking lot in rain and I sorta just coasted/drifted through it with some speed no problem, then slowed to a stop gradually. I rolled up next to my friend since he had just almost hit a tree attempting the same thing and I realized that my brake pedal was locked. I looked down at the pedals and the brake pedal absolutely would not go in, it was like something was obstructing it. Pulled the parking brake, turned it off, started it, same thing. Looked under the hood for a sec but it was raining so I closed it, then decided to check again so I turned on the engine and the pedal was fine. I was thinking something happened to my brake fluid and I had to give it a chance to recirculate, and it was fine after that. Would this have to do with the problem being mentioned here, or is it a process that happens before that?

^^^^^^ try this. With the car off, pump the brake pedal a few times until it gets hard. Is that what it felt like that night? If so, it's a booster problem. Dunno why it would do that, have a peek at the booster's vacuum hose (big hose attached to the big black thing behind the brake master cylinder).
