Simple Question About Painting Break Calipers
YES, Duplicolor kit is awesome!!! It paints on real easy.
The only problem with removing the calipers is that you have to know how to bleed the brakes properly, and you add a lot of time to the job. Personally, I left them on and just used a bent coat hangar to hold them at an angle I could get too. I did remove the brake pads though.
One day I did the 2 backs first, maybe 4 coats about 15-20min apart (plus you get practice for the fronts!!!). I probably painted about 3/4 of them, the very backs I left stock since you can't see it anyway. Let them sit over night in a dry area, and they are ready to go.

I just now finished, i mean like 1 minuite ago, painting my calipers with the dupli-color caliper paint kit. It is soooooo easy. Just take your time with it and your good. Looks very clean and it comes out with that "Brembo" finish. It only took me like an hour and the paint is bone dry. I applied 2 coats also. And if you take your time, you dont really need to take your calipers off unless you want to paint the parts you cant even see. . . its your call. The temp here is about 78 degrees F so im sure that helped with the drying process, that and i had an industrial fan blowing on them. Super easy project with verrrrrrrrrrry nice results.
