Something no one ha mentioned is that you can also reduce weight by reducing unsprung weight or reducing any rotating mass like Brakes and suspension , although that also does cost a few bucks...

Anyways, I dont know wether you want it for handling or acceleration, but for handling maybe you could play with the existing weight and make it so it makes the car feel more balanced (like placing the battery in the trunk). Just my .02

Why replace all interior stuff or anything with carbon fiber, when you could have it gone in the first place in that senario. The CF would have to be re-inforced and somehow held to the car, which requires an underlying structure anyways. The interior components aren't _that_ heavy to begin with, so replacing with CF is inefficent and costly vs. just taking them out. The only place that would benefit the CF would be a hood, trunk, and bumpers.

I was referring to replacing exterior pieces with CF. You are dropping a ton of weight by getting a CF hood.

If you really want to drop some weight get the non-adjustable racing seats from sparco, corbeau, etc but you need to buy seat brackets as well made for the ralliart. The evo's set right in but dont save you much weight.
