I got the BG SynchroShift II from Buschur, my buddy and I changed out my fluid the other night, and it felt awesome afterwards!

Changing this weekend, using Amsoil MTG because that's the only GL-4 I found locally.

Hey guys using the pennzoil syncromesh, how do you tell what weight it is? It says nothing on the bottle or anything. Or is it all the same?

Well please leave feedback because Im very satisfied with Pennzoil Syncromesh and its price. Most of the stores here that have in stock the proper tranny fluid for the RA have either Pennzoil Syncromesh or RP. Thing is that Pennzoil Syncromesh is $8 and RP is $18 the bottle for each.

On a auto trany is the fluid hasn't been changed in time should I just change it, change like half at a time or leave it? I am asking this because I hear so many stories about this and I don't know what to do. I bought the car used and I don't know if the previous owner changed it in time so I'm assuming the worst. I got 114000 miles.

I did change everything when I bought the car except the trany fluid and the brake fluid.

After a lot of research online I decided to change 3 quarts every 1000 miles with Amsoil fluid for the next 3000-4000 miles. One weird thing is that my trans fluid is clear instead of red but it doesn't smell burned.
