ROAD/RACE Project Ralliart

Today we completed installing an LSD in our RA. It is kind of a milestone because although the car has been used for R & D for many projects N/A and what not it is now turbocharged w/LSD and big brakes, TEIN SS Dampners, TOYO RA-1s, ENKEI WHEELS.

I want to thank everyone that helped out, donated stuff to her. Now we plan to take her to the track for real. I will be writing an article with details but It seemed best to start a thread for Newbs etc...

Here is where she started.

Used for R&D for Suspension components with PROGRESS.

Can't wait to see your numbers Rock. I'm waiting til after christmas to install the Quaife, clutch and flywheel i purchased earlier this year from you. By the way, how long did it take you to do the install of those parts. My mitsu dealership is going to be doing mine at a price of about 1500 CDN, and approx 13hrs? Also, howcome your clutch says experimental, does that mean that mine might not fit? what about the lsd, why are you not using a quaife, or offering that to other customers? Did I get the only one or should I be worried that the one i got won't be the right one once the tranny is opened? By the way, thanks for all your hard work too.

What about the Intake Manifold on that car, is it P&P?

i hope he's in the 12's as i've already gotten into the low 13's without some of the suspension stuff. If i had that to control some of the cars rocking off the line i'd probably be way faster.

Go RRM... good luck and hope to see you at the track some time.

I would hope you'd have installed the LSD before on one of your own cars to ensure it performs up to snuff on teh street and on the track over a long period of time. If you have before, but just not on this car, that's great. If you haven't before...

TurboTech RA in Puerto Rico has our LSD and some Canadian Rally Group 5 Ralliart. It will be fine. We just have not had time to install one for a while. I am really hoping for 12s. Maybe not right away but after we dial things in a bit!
