Outlander Questions..?
Outlander better than the Lancer Wagon? Son, put the pipe down. Other than the higher center of gravity, extra weight, and entirely different suspension set up, they share a platform and engine, but that's about it.
BTW, the RA and the Outlander are both 4G69 engines, which have a 10:1 compression ratio. They can be turbo charged, and the Outlander DOES have an AWD 5MT transmission. Doing the swap would be a *****, but it WOULD work. It would just be heavy, and need to be turbo charged to see any real performance gains.
My personal recommendation would be to wait for the 07 Lancer RalliArt, which MIGHT have an AWD option.

the outlander down this way only comes in the auto box.... and will run consistant track times of 17.2 sec nice looking 4wd and fantastic for off road work.... plnty of room in engine bay to add that s/c or turbo, but asfar as transferring drive train over i would not put that sort of effort into it just buy the evo
I meant nothing of the performance of the outlander, blow yourself before you start calling me a crack head
