sorry to hear about this happening to you. just to let you know you influenced me in my decisions about my car. i saw your car on cardomain.com first, and then on these forums. i learned a helluva lot from you, and i hope you will come back to these forums. until then, your input and info will be missed. get better soon by the way. health is more important than getting insurance money.

holy crap! that probably has to be the worst couple of days ever. That really sucks man, u will most definately be missed by everyone...you always had a good answer about something and if you didn't, you knew someone who did. Ive been having to lay low for awhile until things cool down with people hating me. Heres the update, im walking a little better now. Its hard, but i dont think theres going to be many long term effects. Its weird, its almost as if i have to concentrate on my walking, but its getting better, but theres still that chance that i MAY be permanently "damaged". The guy who hit me, theyre trying to nail him with like 7 years in prison. But I didnt get the worse of it, it was the guy in front of me who really got nailed, when I got hit and ran into him he ran into the back of a dump truck and has internal damages, so we're both pretty f'uked up I just heard from the insurance company of the other guy who nailed me that they are going to get the car fixed.....im like uhhhh ok, even though the trunk is trashed but they claim the frame isnt bent. Until then im driving a fricken chevy cobalt as a rental. The only thing the car has is a cd player, the engine is pretty peppy but no power windows or power locks. But its good on gas and for the next month or so it will do.

When i get my car back, ill have an evo 8 wing for sale. I decided to go the wingless look. I figure itll look a lot lower profile and cleaner.

^ to go along with Lefty's comment, there's a guy who autocrosses a black corvette who cannot walk, is in a wheel chair, etc. The first time I saw him, I'm like "wow, he's going to autocross?" then i see him get in his car, drive the hell out of the corvette, and end up being one of the top drivers of the day, i was thoroughly impressed. it was almost like his handicap was cheating

glad to hear good updates tho man! you'll be fine, just do waht you need to do, listen to your doctor, and you have nothing to regret. hopefully, your car will recover from its injuries soon as well!
