I couldn't find a single person who had actually used emanage on a RA with any certainty. Lot's of people have said they've controlled MIVEC with it and even more said it could NOT control MIVEC. I've got a brand new blue box with an ignition and a fuel harness (plus a cheapo laptop for prog) waiting for someone to say one way or the other. Sorry but I'm not an innovator w/ my daily driver, I needs to get to work to make that money and rentals are way too expensive. RPW should have an answer here in about a week about the mivec question if no one else steps forward, preferably w/ maps!

i want it not only to controll mivec, but to controll fuel mapping for my nitrous system. lot of things holding me back, and fuel controll is one of them.

You can get the fuel system harness easy along with retarding the spark (except where MIVEC is concerned) w/ the emanage and the 2 harness'. I bought it for the same reasons, fuel and spark control and the hopes of adj. MIVEC switchover point. I've looked all over creation trying to find a legitimate MIVEC controller for our engine. It's not the same as the "old" mivec system so I'm really hoping that RPW comes thru and finds the mighty mivec switch like they expect for the haltech system's "economy" mode. Adjusting an electronic signal has never been so frustrating in my life. I actually gave up on the idea of using it on my RA and was holding on to it for another project. If you're serious you can find them on ebay for dirt cheap and a lot of "software help " on yahoo emanage group along with clone cables for hooking up to a laptop. Unfortunately nobody on there has done a 4g69. Let me know if you have any success though, if it can be done I might hack my harness after all.

Shhhh! The dealers are listening! Like they missed my nitrous rants. Have you checked the yahoo groups yet? They offer free downloads of software and all the updates I think, I haven't been on there for quite awhile. Look for Simon's cable for a cheap alternative to greddy's and you'd be set.

edit: Almost forgot! Don't buy the ignition harness from greddy, go down to walmart and buy an RX-7 radio harness for alot less. Same connectors if not colors LOL! Check the yahoo boards and make sure it's the ignition and not the fuel harness. I bought a package deal off ebay with everything but a pressure sensor.

That's why I stopped at 75 wet Mitsu. I knew it was safe w/ nothing else to do at that point. You can go ahead and hook up an emanage now, you just won't be able to control mivec untill rpw finishes up on theirs and releases the diagrams and maps for it. Everything else you should be able to find in the ecu pinout sticky. Mivec control was 1st in my mind but you might be able to get around it for awhile.
