I know this damn feeleing. Mine is stopping me from getting my smog test done. I am on my 3rd maf. Lucky me. I am about ready to go back to stock. I'm going to check my intake pipe and reset ecu again and see if it works. Otherwise anyone in livermore area got a stock airbox? Have piggyback ecu also, that might have to get taken off. I love the midrange power and gasmileage but this code has gotten on my last nerve!

I had this problem. Couldn't figure it out. Checked my spark plugs and they looked great and it ended up solving whole problem

Yeah it was weird. It went away after I reset it. Besides my car has been feeling jerky for a month or so and the lean code popped up a lot....switched the spark plugs out because I did everything else and it went away a coupe days lafter including the lunging forward type feeling.

TSB 0613009.
Replace injector O rings 1465A188 and injector insulators MD087060. Remember to get 4 of each.

This code has been popping up on me lately. I think it's due to the cold weather. If I don't let my car warm up before I drive it, this code pops up also. Weird.

Since this TSB was applied to my car, the code has never recurred.
That was 2 years ago. Prior to that, I was getting the code P0171 every few weeks.

Cranswick, if you get that code the TSB may not be your answer because you changed your injectors and possibly the offending washers and insulators already. It does mean that air is getting into the engine without being measured though, so check points after the MAF for leaks still.

i did not replace the seals on the intake manifold, only the top o-rings at the fuel rail...but i guess i could also have a leak somewherein the charge pipe...

Didn't you have a leak that you fixed crans? This came on for me when I switched to a short ram for the rainy season But yesterday I was messing with stuff in the engine bay and found that the hose that goes from the valve cover to the intake hose was off and I cleared the code so let's see of this is why I have it.. Maybe that's why I couldn't get under 16.0s at the track

crankcase can ventilate to atmosphere without any issues, air from there doesn't actually pass through the combustion chamber at all...it's the nipple on the intake which is post-MAF which will cause the problem...
