If you had $10k to spend on your Ralliart (and wanted to)

I am with Otter......RRM Turbo, clutch, coilovers, big brake kit, LSD. Not sure how much $$$ you would have after that (that list I think is around $7500). Take it to Dave Buschur and have him tune it. I think he would take something like the RA on, no problem.

OMFG... This is rediculous... I should have known that people would be too stupid to read my entire first post. Heck it's even in the title... "If you had $10k to spend on your Ralliart (and wanted to)" Not if you had $10k and a Ralliart what would you do with the $10k in general.
Can a mod please delete the replies that say anything about getting an Evo instead of doing stuff to the Ralliart, I'd appreciate it.
I'm not looking to be like everybody else who went out and bought an evo so they could be fast... I'd like to take what I have now and see what I can do with it. And if I were going to get an Evo I wouldn't sell the ralliart, I'd keep it and let my wife drive it.

I did read your first post which is useless becasue this is a forum for people to give there comments. If there is so many people saying the same thing maybe we know what we are talking about. I believe that your the 15,986th ralli art owner to ask this dumb useless question becasue in my oppion if you had 10k to spend i would hope that you be smart enough to do the right thing and trade it in. Remember it is called other peoples oppions, not what you have to do. I call this my 3 1/2 cents.

honestly, i would get the RRM turbo kit, upgrade to stage 2, new clutch for the new found power, then with the rest id invest in suspension including an LSD
speed is nothing without grip

I suggest you guys read up on that, it's fundamental.
As for evoreel, if you read his disclaimer, than why reply with a such an answer? You could have save time and face, but now you look dense because you can't follow a few instructions, plus your spelling is horrible. For example, if I was thinking "get the evo" too, I wouldn't reply here, im smart enough to read his first post and either PM him (like he said) or just not reply at all, now why couldn't you do that?
Again, evo owners and 1 ralliart (future evo owner) is saying sale the ralliart, which is an 06, so most likely he will not get anything close on what he owes, and even if he thought trade in, he would still be upside down bad, than to drop 10k on a evo, but is 10k gonna cover...
EXPENSIVE CAR NOTE
EXPENSIVE MAINTENANCE
EXPENSIVE INSURANCE
HIGHER GAS PRICES
MITSUBISHI WARRANTY BS
People, think about it...
ok why even ask a question? FINE u wanna trick out the ralliart and NOT get an EVO. Its mad stupid but u already answered more than half of ur question.
5k-6k RRM turbo kit or RIPP supercharger
Rest is exterior and suspension - LSD, Stronger clutch, better tires, rear and front sway bars, tein springs, etc etc ( 2.5k+)

get the turbo, lighten stuff up, then work on your suspension.
forget the turbo from RRM, it's over priced... you can get a turbo built by a good shop in your area for lessand have them tune it... I love the RRM turbo, but the price is insane...
Do the LSD and get slotted/drilled rotors. Find some cheap but decent looking rims and get some great tires...
then, take it for a drive - find a stock EVO and give him a run... when your done - let him know you paid less for the power, pay less to insure it, and get the joy of not being "another **edited for management** with an oversized wing"

You will find it very hard to beat a stock evo with 10k worth of mods in a raliart. The 9s are hittign 12.9 bone stock, and forget about beating one on a road course. They are two completely different cars, dont take this the wrong way but its true.
