i dont know what all of you are complaining about im paying 26000 for mine! it all depends on your credit and what-not . sticker price was 20,200 and somthing , after 3500 dollar cashback and my trade in for 8000 the pice droped down to 8700 , then since they had to pay off my trade in for 5000 the price went back up to 13700 , so after tax, tags, gap insurence , and other bull**** paperwork fees plus an extended to 10 year warrenty with my $hity credit at an extremly high intrest rate , it all came out to be around 26 almost 27 thousand dollars! i know it sucks !
and as for the kbb value , if i sold the car today for the pice listed , i would still owe money!
i kinda knew somthing like this would happen thats why i got all the extra coverage i could possibly get for that car . so i didnt get too screwed in the long run.

mine is an 04 RED RA, 5 spd manual with the sun & sound. I got mine for 15,600. after tax and license it came out to be 17,230 or something like that.I got a pretty dam good deal if you ask me
Only two people out of all those posts answered the poor guy's question about blue book value. The rest of you are bragging about how you got a great deal.
I would think a big part of the low value is that our car company is not so popular, let alone the lancer model. If no one knows how good the car is why would they want to buy a used one at a relatively high price. I don't know exactly how kelly blue book makes their prices, but if you think practically about it, it makes sense. Put a for sale sign in your window and I bet most of the people who see it will have to take a closer look just to find out what car it is. If they know nothing about it, why would they buy it? They know civics are "reliable", "last forever" and hold their value, so they'd be willing to pay more for one.

There's already other threads about this (amount paid and trade-in value). Realisticly, the Ralliart has held its value pretty well. Most people paid around $17k for it. After a year it dropped to upper $13's, but after two years, it only dropped to $12k. Every car loses a ton of value in its first year.
