all depends. What are you looking for? The Acura will be faster. Not right off the line, but it goes nuts once you start getting into the i-vtec.

My friend has a Type-S. I prefer my Ralliart. But the RSX is a hell of a car. The seats are great, the interior is very classy and refined, and there are plenty of modications out there for it.

I'll go for the RSX uf you want better interiror, also very good car to tune.

 

Here ill tell you the story
...Ralliart/Evo, been looking at it for awhile now, researching, eBaying, etc... asking my mom, begging etc, and Evo is out of the want list (sort of) because of price so about 2 days 2004 White Ralliart was my choice, now the second part of the story.

...Since my sister has been driving for about a year now, my mom wants to buy her a car FIRST, and work with me later, and since my mom got hookup at Oakland Acura, she can get a hookup for the new 05 rsx/rsx type S, but my sister thinks bla bla, I want a g35 coupe like shes gonna get it, so shes not. and my mom said fudge, if stella doesn't want it, you can get a car before her. So I was like wow, alright... so now here comes the deciding.

Current Thinking Abouts:
-05 RSX very clean, but RSX (too many people have it) not too many but its coming
-Wanna sport a ralliart in the area, really like the mitsubishis now
-RSX is more luxurious, nice looking and has great performance
-Rallairt is more for the lower performance, but since I have been wanting it for quite a while now, the ralliart is tying me down from the RSX.
-I'm so confoosed

 

Wow, parents pay for your brand new car? My parents wouldn't even buy me a used car....

The RSX-S would be a better car for tuning the aftermarket for the RSX is huge especially N/A mods. I owned a RSX(base) and the interior is amazing seats are really good. I found that insurance for it is exteremly high especially the type s.

I like my RA over all better than my base rsx though.

 

Ralliart is overall better than base RSX technically, horsepowerwise, and ralliart as a sedan would have cheaper insurance

TYpe-S vs Ralliart, Type-S better performance/interior, so I dont know now

My parents is really paying for it for working hard etc, and hope some day I can pay them back, which I am, and I offered to pay for the monthly payments since I have a job now.

go for the ralliart.

1. less expensive
2. not everyone and their mother drives one (i see rsx-s all the time)
3. great warranty (so long as its a good dealer)
4. get one to become a real member of the evom gang (all others are trolls )

 

2005 rsx? its puke, dude. get the 04 instead. it will be at the invoice price too. theres a thread on here somewhere with a guy that bought an 04 rsx for invoice price.

 

as far as car vs. car goes, the rsx is superior in every aspect... but it does come with a higher price tag, correct? go test drive the both of them and see how you feel.

if your only real thing holding you back from the rsx is something as vague as "i've been wanting the ralliart for a long time," then you need to reassess WHY you want the ralliart.

 

I dont like you right now. Who gives a rats *** which car you get. They are both free. Just take one and smile about it. They are both nice and they are both fast enough for the price.

 

It's what you want... no matter what anyone here tells you the bottom line is when you go to one dealership or the other you're going to get what you want not thinking what everyone @ EVOM told you, so...
test drive them & get what YOU WANT!

 

'05 RSX Type S all the way.

People are suspecting they are now using parts of the ITR head in the '05 Type S head to gain the extra 10hp (and whatever torque).

I'm a Honda fan, even though I drive a Mitsubishi. I loved my ITR to pieces...

 

i'm amazed we've gotten 12 replies and no one has yet said something like "get the srt-4" or "they both blow".

 

i have an 04 ralliart and i love it, now im jst lookin for the right parts to make my car faster. the ralliart is smooth and its pretty fast, i love driving it and its all i could afford lol. i see a lot of the rsx and the type-s but i rarely c a ralliart,

 

the srt-4 is a gr8 fast car for its price. the only thing i dont like about it is the neon look. they should have used a diffrent front look. but other then that, that car is fast and its cheap 2.
