Arrow Haltech Tuned - Interceptor on the way!

Hey guys,

I've taken up RPW's offer to get my 06 Ra tuned by Haltech.

Basically Haltech will be testing the new interceptor for our cars and if all goes well, should produce something nice for our RA's and something that may be considered as a mod in the near future for all!
http://www.haltech.com.au/interceptor.htm

I'll be getting free tuning, installation and labour. This should be good and can't wait. Should be another week before Haltech gets in contact.

Will keep you guys updated.

Oh forgot to add - no Exede is nothing like the haltech interceptor. Maybe in theory both being a piggy back but that is where the simularity ends. The haltech and exede systems are not compatible at all.

Not to say that it shouldn't be tuned on a dyno.

These won't become officialy for sale until after xmas - but that shoudl give everyone plenty of time to start saving some money.

I Can see this will become a very popular product.
Okay just so I don't get overly excited about this but.... When you say wiring harness, what exactly do you mean? A jumper harness that fits between the factory harness and the ecu or something else? I've stated interest in a jumper harness before to various entities and all have said no to it. Are you guys just going to answer ALL our prayers?

The supporting mods are:

1. RRM Pulley
2. RRM CAI
3. RPW Header/Downpipe
4. 2.25" Catback w/ 2 Resonators ; Magnaflow Muffler

A good combination for a tune!

Also have the intake manifold gasket yet to be installed. Recently installed RPW Rally Spec Short Shifter

This should be good.

I will post before and after dyno charts. It will be interesting to see the numbers it pulls on its current modifications. I know I have lost a whole heap of low end, so obvious when going for it. Mid-top is gained very little.

Anyways, should see and know something by Monday/Tuesday.

Remember to post actual temperatures so we can get an idea about needing tuning according to different temps. Remember that this was the cause for concern about RRms piggy being tuned in Cali type temps. That and the difference in size of the CAIs ie. Injen, AEM and RRM

No problem, its being tuned by Haltech, they should be able to give me accurate information. If anything, you can always ask Dave from RPW to confirm with Haltech as well.

Cheers!
