ha thats what they think until they find more stuff wrong. my original quote with way less cosmetic damage than yours was $5000 and it ended up costing $12,000

 

If they total it, ask if you can take the money, get a salvage title and fix it they way you want it with cheaper aftermarket parts.

yeah, the initial estimate from an ajuster is ALWAYS lower than what the shop charges them. and believe it or not a shop is the only way you will get more money to fix it with. if you were to fix it yourself there is no way they are going to give you any more money, but the shop only has to ask them

 

u said the engine was ok,
just scrape the car, get another RA and buy back the engine and work it up then install it in the new RA

its just body damage and the front right suspention
frames fine and everything.

plus it doesnt matter. there working on the car as we speek. and its not like can just be like " just total it and give me the 12g's that its worth"
