so i come home from work to happily find my exhaust waiting for me by the front door= :-)

driving home. 5 minutes away from house and you guessed it.... wall

this is all what i noticed as i was screaming ^(&^*&%@$*(^@$ at 11PM on a bridge with no one around

and i have yet to guess about the trans and anything else.
autobody shop guy when i called him just that second was looking at it and said there is a very slim chance of it being totaled.

ya about a week ago i was driving by and threw a cig butt out the window at it and he said to pay up or he never wants to see me on the bridge again ....and i forgot and he jumped in front of me.


no but it was ****ed up

i was going 45 and felt like ... as if i hit somthing and a millasecond after the car just shot of to the right and bounced of and the front right wheel was turned about 70 degrees to the right so the car just slid to a stop just tearing away at the tire.
the cop said he had it happen to him b4 or saw it happen b4.. or somthing i dont remember i was just pissed off and yelling in my head.

one of the best days i had in the longest time time too up until that point. and no i dont got pics. it was to dark for my phone to capture

 

wait a second.... a wall? on a bridge? umm... i hate to be an *** about it, but consider your self one lucky SOB. what caused the car to jerk right?

cause that sounds like a faulty tie rod to me...
it is an 04 and it mighta been due for those to be replaced,
but if im wrong, and that is the cause of your accident, i think you might have a lawsuit.

Well ill tell u from experience i hit a deer, and i needed, new headlight, bumper, front grills, fender, hood, throttle position sensor and bracket, cruise control modual, windshield washer fluid reservoir, ac condenser, wiring harness, and a few other little things, it cost in total $5,271.96, and took a day short of a month to fix, so all i can say is good luck.... WITHOUT the sun and sound package and WITH a 5 speed MT ur cars ESTIMATED value is right around $14,000

Do u have full coverage on ur insurance company???

i totally my first ralliart, and i was still making payments on the car. BUT i had Full coverage with my car insurance AND (most importantly) when i bought the car, i bought the magically "gap coverage" . This means when ur car depriciates in value, your car insurance only pays for "what its worth" . Not how much u pay. Say you still owe 15,000 dollars, but Full coverage only pays for 12,000 b/cs thats the value of the car. You gotta come up with the other 3,000....

Thats when "Gap coverage" kicks in. This insurance deal u signed at the dealership will cover that 3000 dollar gap between What the car is worth (Car insurance) and how much you owe (car payment).

So do u have full coverage? Do u have gap insurance?? If so u might be better off hopeing its totalled, just buy a new one. hahaha
