Raising Gas Paddle
My left foot has a mind of its own, so upon approaching a stop, it finds a pedal and pushes it to the floor. In an A/T, the leftmost pedal is the brake. Loose objects and passengers follow the laws of physics and continue in motion until they contact a solid object, such as the back of the front seats or the dashboard...
to the OP, if you want an easier time with heel/toe-ing, get aftermarket pedals that are wider, from autovation for example.
it can be done smoothly on stock pedals though, but with the distance between pedals it can get tricky if youre not braking hard to level them out.
i was slowing down once in my auto corolla, instinctively i went for the clutch pedal that didnt exist and slammed my foot on the floor. everybody in the car heard it, boy was my face red.

My trophy's bigger than yours though. And pretty sure my legs are prettier

But what if you're smooth already with stick?
Also, lessens the "herky jerky" movement of downshifting (i.e. shifting the car's weight abruptly)....and keeps the car more balanced. Which is something that is critical on a track, but just fun on the street.

yeah I find heel-toeing in the RA to be pretty easy, but then again i'm some asian kid with small feet.. haha
I heel-toe whenever i can, but only when i'm braking hard enough. My foot can't twist the right way unless the brake peddle is pushed down enough. If i'm entering the turn at low speed I just rev match right before the turn.

Maybe after market pedals would solve all my problems
