Exclamation street tires not working need something stronger!!

ok i am not pushing more than 300 horsepower to the wheels. ill post dyno sheets soon but i was wondering what drag radials they make that fit the 205/50/16 rims we have. i couldnt catch traction before the cam tune and before i uped the shot to 100. and i have been through a bunch of different street tires non of them will catch traction out the hole on spray im trying break through to 12 eventually but i need tires bad.

past runs on old set up was a 13.9@ 104 with a blown clutch

new set up looking at low 13 or even posiblly 12's with good tires.

Get power to both front wheels, otherwise all you'll do is spin one of them. That's too much power to try to put down through an open diff and street tires.

Look into LSD like the others have said.

Check into Nitto or BFG DR's. Or if you want DOT slicks, look at Hoosiers...but they are not cheap.

You might want to try a wider footprint too. 205 is the stock tire, but I believe some people are running 215's on our stock rims. Or you could just get some wider rims and stuff a 225 under there....but beware of you want to turn, those may rub.

You'd be best off getting 15" wheels and you'll have far more options for drag slicks.

15" steelies would be fine for mounting drag slicks. You can pick up a set of 4 for about $100. You'll save that $100 the first time you buy tires. And the next, and the next...
