I just had a confusing conversation with my local mitsu dealer..i was talking to the service dept dude so maybe he doesn't really know..but i was asking him about the 09 ralliart and his assumption was that it was the only model coming out..he made it sound like there was no evolution for 09 or other lancers etc...i kept saying its supposed to be the lancer ralliart edition like my 05 is..he kept saying lancer IS ralliart...i know what ralliart is- the racing div etc..but now i'm confused as to the 09 line...anyone know for sure?...apparently there is some confusion with mitsu and its dealers too.

 

do not listen to mitsubishi dealerships...most of the time we know more than they do, if you really want to talk to someone who has knowledge at a dealership, talk to the person who owns the dealership...

 

It sounds like the guy either doesn't know what he's talking about or was just messing with you. The 2009 ***Lancer GTS (non-RA) is supposed to get a horsepower increase from a bored out 4B11 engine called the 4B12 placing it between the regular Lancers and the RalliArt in the Lancer line up. Besides the fact that it would be foolish for Mitsubishi to spend so much on television advertisements for a car that would, according to this guy, only be available for two years.

2009 will finally have the FULL lineup of Lancers (Evo, Ralliart, GTS, Base model).

+1, dealers dont know anything about the specs on those cars, but they can tell you everything about keyless entry, power windows and door locks.

the salesman that sold me my car knew that it had an engine, brakes, wheels and tires.........that was about it.
