So last year was great. Small, but great. Virginia Beach was perfect, We had fun with the go carts, had a small little car show, and most importantly, we all met up and developed a friendship. Some of which i still keep in touch with.

So the time is come. Summer is right around the corner and I think we gotta plan out the 2nd annual. This time i want WAY more evom.net members, and maybe a mod or two.

But this thread isnt to announce or plan anything, its just to take opinions with you people, see who is interested in going, WHERE we are going, what we are going to do, when and how long we are going. ECT...

So... any ideas? Virginia beach, myrtle beach, miami.

or puerto rico so we can learn all there secrets and steal the turbo Tech ralliart with 500whp?? lol....

Well no matter what we do, we need to start discussing it, plan it ahead, and make it as big as possible. Last year was fun, but it was the start of it. This one will be better..

well, I'm in NC and Myrtle Beach is pretty big in the summer here I'm sure it's nothing like Miami, but it's central as far an NJ to FL is If it's in late summer I could probably manage to take a little time off to stay long enough to warrant a longer driver

Sorry, I'm not driving 12 hours. If you can move things west to where it's no more than a 6-ish hour drive, then you'd get me to consider it.

Chicago is a good central place for a lot of people

 

In May, there's the Winged Warrior competition in Indianapolis, at O'Reilly race park. I'll certainly be there, as will quite a few other Mitsu enthusiasts. Room/board is cheap because you're allowed to camp on site.

I'll camp, but i can only do it july/augest months for work, thats my time to vaca.

I want something by a beach. Hell i hate to sound lazy local boy, but AC has the casinos, and 4 nice beaches to choose from. Atlantic city, wildwood, capemay, sea isle. Good times.

But miami would be AWESOME. I'd drive that far, **** it.

Camping with Otter is fun.....I froze.....but it was a fun weekend.

 

I like to camp, but that's a little laid back compared to what RAonLSD is wanting I think if you guys like to camp there is a national forest here where I camp that you have to drive ~10 miles on dirt roads to get where I put my tent I doubt geardownson would be able to get his car out there (it's just a little close to the ground) but I have been out there a couple of times in the RA

Miami would be fun, but it's over 11 hours from here and about 19 from Jersey, 21 from Otter up there in the cold.

I haven't discussed it with my GF yet but we are moving into a house in April, looking for a 4 bedroom, so there would be plenty of room for people to crash here for a night if we go to Myrtle Beach. yeah, I'm still fighting for a central location but don't think it's too local for me. it's ~4 hours normally from here even though it's in the next state. I've made it in 3

I wouldn't mind heading up north a little, I thought the Va Beach thing worked out pretty well for the people who showed up. I also don't thing we should discount going out west a little so that crowd can join in on the festivities. I am sure there are things to do, and lakes are about as good as beaches in some areas, just without the waves plus, camping is awesomely entertaining and you have much less of a chance of getting a hard time for having a bunch of showy cars following each other around if your not in a tourist area. we didn't have that problem last time, but we did get some eyeballing while parked outside the kart place.

 

otter, you are ~12 hours to me here, is that doable for a long weekend? same thing with you bruce, been back and forth between lawrence and charlotte a few times in 12 hours. I know you guys probably don't want to do the 12 hour thing any more than I do, but it can be a little more laid back if you know you have someplace to break the trip up. my door is open...
