Grinding 4th Gear!!
Its the synchro for sure, if you look at these photo's you'll see what the synchro looks like. Also this is what the inside of our transmission looks like as well.
I have plenty more I can take photo's of. I have all the parts I pulled from the tranny and replaced, including 2nd gear, rev gear, bearings, etc.... haha

Well..i took it back up to the dealership..and heres the story, i really need advice here..
my car is under factory warranty untill august 4th.
if i am in neutral and rev it up to about 5 grand it grinds when i put it in fourth, none of the other gears. i went on a test drive with a service writer, andhe said for him to "make a case" he has to see it shift from 3rd to 4th and grind.
I took it on the freeway, put it up to about 5500 or 6000 and shifted, sure enough it grinds, but still goes in the gate. more of a crunch..i even had him shift it and he felt it. he said its not enough to make a case because it does it under "extreme conditions."
i can have them tear down the tranny but i have to pay 500 dollars for it..and if its a covered peice that is broken they will fix it and refund my money but if not im out 500 or so dollars and still have a ****ed up car.
he suggested i change my tranny fluid..but will that really fix a grind?
i JUST bought it in november and i love my ralliart but ive had problem after problem with it...i just want it to be problem free for once so i can take it to the track..
any advice? thanks in advance.

Mine does the same in from 1st to 2nd gear, which is really ****ty beacuse i can't really race around when i have to press the clutch for an extra second. Any price frame for the guys that have already done it? Where can i get the 2nd gear and synchro for it?
i changed my tranny fluid a year ago, and the problem still persists, mine does it going into 3rd, and occasionally into 5th.
I would almost say just try and break the tranny so they have to replace it, but I feel bad recommending someone to thrash their RA.
