Accelerator pedal position sensor. The thing behind the passenger headlight that the throttle cable goes into.

There are actually 2 TPS sensors on the car. They are part of the throttle body mechanism. There are 2 APS sensors as well. Follow the throttle cable under the hood and that's the APS. Get a friend to pump the gas with the car off, see that thing moving? Normally you will get a limp mode that says something to the effect of TPS main/sub disagrees or APS main/sub disagrees.

every time my car starts it stalls out, had someone read the computer and the code read a faulty TPS, and i did some research and tests and the conclusions were all the same, faulty TPS. so i need to replace the TPS to prevent the stall out.

Sounds like a good time to just get a replacement throttle body. I believe the TB is a bosch designed unit - if so I am not convinced that you can replace just the TPS. Maybe look at swapping on the larger eclipse TB.

u could try to disconect the maf sensor and all wires that join the aceleration
and try to clean them then u could try and see what happens maybe that could work

and disconnect the battery and reset the ecu or just take it out then just put it on let the key on with out the engine leave it like 10 min then start engine leave it 5 min then u could try and see if that works
